“Just weeks ago I was speaking about you to a mutual friend and he said to me these words, ‘Duane is everything you can ever dream of in a son.’
“He could not have said anything that can explain my love and my respect for you than this as it’s the truth.”
Continuing, he added: “You are also everything you can ever dream of in a husband, a father, a brother and a friend.
“Thank you for all the care, the love and the happiness you have brought to your Dad’s life.
“We all laugh as you should be the father and me the son.”
In addition to being Wayne’s son, Duane is also his partner in several businesses.
Wayne’s other children are sons Sean and Freddie as well as daughter Tia.

He has been estranged from the soon-to-be former Match of the Day host since 2008.
