Wayne Kramer dead at 75: MC5 guitarist behind hits like Kick Out the Jams had been planning comeback

WAYNE Kramer, the lead guitarist and co-founder of the rock band MC5, has died at age 75.

Kramer died on Friday, according to an announcement on his Instagram.

A cause of death was not immediately provided.

Kramer’s death comes as the iconic rock band out of Lincoln Park, Michigan, was planning to release a new album in early 2024.
