Check out the video making the rounds again where the Duchess of Sussex flashes some harsh looks at the Princess of Wales.

Once upon a time, royal fans thought that Meghan Markle and the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) would become so close and bond over their unique experience of marrying Britain’s royal princes. Instead, we learned that the ladies were never close and barely got along despite the smiles they showed when they attended royal engagements together.

Meghan talked about her relationship with Kate and revealed that it wasn’t like what everyone thought during her explosive sit-down with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.

When the former talk show host asked Meghan about the countless photos of her and Kate looking happy and smiling alongside each other, the Duchess of Sussex admitted things weren’t how they appeared, saying: “My understanding and my experience for the past four years is that it’s nothing like what it looks like.” The Suits alum then emphasized that in the royal family: “It’s nothing like what it looks like.”

Looking back now, royal watchers wondered if there were signs they missed. Well, turns out there were some stares that could have indicated what Meghan’s true feelings were. Now, a video that has resurfaced and is going viral highlights quite a few “death” glares Meghan had for Kate.

Here’s more on that, and how the Princess of Wales appeared to respond to her sister-in-law the last time she saw her.

Meghan’s death stares at Kate caught on camera

The video that’s going viral again actually shows Meghan giving Prince William’s wife three if-looks-could-kill stares.

The first look of disgust Meghan gave was as she was right behind Kate while the princess was busy greeting people at a royal engagement. The second death stare from the duchess was at the 2019 Trooping the Colour when they were sitting in a carriage across from eachother. And the last one was another engagement the ladies attended where Meghan was again behind Kate as she glared at her.

The brief 7-second clip has racked up more than 11,700 views and dozens of comments.

“That’s a death stare… Calculating,” one person wrote.

“Very, very scary,” another posted.

“Chilling,” a third said.

And a fourth added: “That just says it all, doesn’t it.”

Kate’s death stare for Meghan after walkabout

Years later, Kate had her own death stare for Meghan that was seen ’round the world.

Two days after Queen Elizabeth II died, the Waleses and Sussexes did an impromptu walkabout on the Long Walk at Windsor Castle after viewing floral tributes together. Just before the foursome left, they stood outside their vehicle to bid farewell to the crowds. Many fans couldn’t help but notice the look Kate gave Meghan before turning to wave goodbye to everyone gathered there.

As the two women looked directly at one another, Kate shot a laser-focused icy stare at her sister-in-law. Then, in a blink-and-missed-it moment, the princess took a step toward the duchess.

Meghan appeared a bit startled and backed away from Kate before Harry reached for his wife as they all turned back to the crowds again and began smiling and waving. The group then got in their waiting vehicle. But one can only imagine how thick the tension was in that car when they drove off.
