The alleged victim, who asked not to be named, claims it was Brown who launched the assault.

He told The Sun on Sunday: “He hit me over the head two or three times.

“My knee collapsed as well. He’s making out it was one of his entourage but it was him.

“I’ve spoken to the police and they hope to resolve the matter soon.

“It’s now in the hands of my solicitor and I can’t comment further.”

The producer had to be taken to hospital, needing crutches to walk when he was discharged.

We reported how the attack allegedly took place on February 19 at The Tape club in London’s Mayfair where US R&B singer and songwriter Brown was with his entourage during a UK concert tour.

It is understood Brown had offered to voluntarily attend a London police station for questioning.

But sources say he did not meet cops and is now back in the US.

The Met Police have refused to comment on the identities of anyone they wish to speak to, saying: “Inquiries continue.”

In 2009, Brown assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna, 35, causing facial injuries.

And in 2013, he was arrested for breaking a man’s nose in Washington DC after refusing a picture with him.

He voluntarily went into rehab but was kicked out. He was jailed for a year for breaching probation.
