See him in full costume, making the internationally famous singer nearly unrecognizable.

Starring alongside Brad Pitt in 2022’s action comedy Bullet Train, Bad Bunny’s first major acting role received strong praise. The next year saw the “King of Latin Trap” appear in an indie flick, Cassandro, before pulling out of Marvel’s El Muerto as he worked on his most recent album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. Now, Bad Bunny is expanding his acting resume once more with Caught Stealing. He’ll star alongside Austin Butler, Zoë Kravitz, Regina King, and Yuri Kolokolnikov, who filmed on September 26.

While the details of this crime thriller are still under wraps, recent paparazzi photos reveal a lot about Caught Stealing. Bad Bunny’s outfit, which includes a brown plaid suit set and leather dress shoes, gives off decidedly ’70s vibes. Based on Charlie Huston’s novel by the same name, the film follows a retired baseball player turned bartender in Manhattan. Bad Bunny doesn’t portray this role. However, given the number of seedy characters in this book, we assume the “MONACO” rapper portrays a rather sketchy individual.

In addition to his plaid suit, Bad Bunny wore several rings and a long necklace with a locket. His usual black hair, which fans usually see cut short or dyed bright colors, was dyed a dark red, and his matching beard was longer than usual and rather scraggly. Between the outfit and new hairstyle — is it a wig? — the “I Like It” rapper was hard to recognize.

Directed by Black Swan‘s Darren Aronofsky, Caught Stealing will likely follow its source material closely. Elvis star Austin Butler portrays the main character, Henry “Hank” Thompson, while Kravitz and King play supporting roles. This year, several cast members joined the impressive roster, including Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Griffin Dunne.

After Bullet Train, Bad Bunny is no stranger to filming intense action scenes. The multihyphenate’s body double eventually joined him on set, where Butler had fake blood splattered on his neck and shoulder. Bad Bunny also recently joined the cast of Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore sequel, reports Deadline. Directed by Kyle Newacheck, Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen will reprise their roles alongside the actor-comedian in the forthcoming Netflix comedy.
