UKRAINIAN electronic music artist The Organism has roots in the scene that goes back two decades.
Releasing on labels such as Disco Halal and Diynamic, he’s had high profile support from the likes of Solomun, Dixon and DJ Tennis, and several tracks in the high end of the melodic charts on Beatport.
His new album, Dictator, which is out now, is a showcase of his hypnotic bass vibrations, exciting vocals and mystic ethnic sounds. The seven track collection shows off his rich array of house styles in fine fashion. A left of centre house album with a unique electronic soul.

We caught up Roman Yarmolenko aka The Organism this week to mark the release of his new album and he talked us through ten favourite tracks from his label Organic Tunes including music from the new long player.
Serge Proshe, July Vitraniuk – Cherry Garden (Minörs Remix)
I often start my sets with this intro because it takes me back to childhood memories, my grandmother used to sing this song during feasts. In this version, the set of parts, harmonies and vocals work just great!
The Organism – Dictator
This is the main track from my recent album of the same name. The fun and playful mood of the set (bass, guitar, voice) says that we should only promote dancing and positive vibes. The tune works very well on the dance floor and spins the dance.
The Organism- Speeech
Also a track from the album with a calling mood in the person of Charlie Chaplin to stop the violence, and to focus on creation and creation. The techno groove underscores the great dictator’s speech.
YAME – As I Ran
Pure Indie Dance with a bit of a circus vibe. A punked out break and vocoder vocals, and an innovative approach that never leaves the dance floor indifferent.
Fel C – Walking On You (Original Mix)
This kicks off with chunky drum work and twitchy acid bass-lines. The echoing vocals pan about the mix as darker bass rolls down deep. It’s a dramatic tune full of mood and texture. Really good work on the dance floor.

Karavagy – Monoconda
This closes down in body popping fashion, with a loose rhythm, great vocal effects and fizzing pads. His work just sounds so wonderful! His production is amazing and this track is timeless and so relevant now!
Rybin – Pew
This track explores widescreen and tough tech house with progressive melodies that lift you off your feet.“The main melody in this tune is unbelievably beautiful, I play this only when the moment has got high”
Light (UA) – Exotic
This track slips into a more deep and tropical vibe with exotic strings. Sometimes it is hard to find powerful original tracks that just keep the energy up as everything’s based on a well-known guitar sample and without giving away too much, still leaving room for me. Exotic is that noble supreme tune and it always delivers.”
Cuprite – Akam Pakam
Another track that’s fast but not too heavy, driving emotion and subtle dreamy trance elements slot this in a really nice space as the night closes in. It’s a bright tune with shiny arpeggios, a steamy vocal and disco tinged beat that never quits.
YAME & Arsanit – I Love You Fantomas
What to say.. this track is absolutely stunning! The production is impeccable – Yame are truly gifted. The vibe of this track is where it’s at! That held grinding lead is so sick. Cowbell groove.. It’s all yes.. Check it out.
