Topher Grace’s wife, Ashley Hinshaw, spoke up in defense of sexual abuse victims after her husband’s co-star Danny Masterson was issued a lengthy prison sentence for rape.
“To every rape victim that is that is retraumatized by witnessing society debate and focus their attention on what is going to happen to the RAPIST … I see you,” the “About Cherry” star, 34, wrote over a photo of trees via her Instagram Story Friday.
Although Hinshaw did not mention Masterson, the post came only a day after the “That 70’s Show” alum was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for raping two women in 2003.
Meanwhile, Grace, 45, has remained mum on the matter, but several people have praised the actor for his silence given that some of his other sitcom co-stars took the time to write letters to the judge to advocate for Masterson, 47.
“Congrats on being the one guy on the show who didn’t completely suck, in addition to being the best actor especially following the show,” one person commented on Grace’s most recent Instagram post.
Another added, “Thank you for not writing a letter for danny like the rest of your cast. You’re the only one on that show that doesn’t make me sick.”

Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith, who all starred on “That ’70s Show” alongside Masterson from 1998 to 2004, wrote letters ahead of the sentencing.
“As a friend, Danny has been nothing but a positive influence on me,” Kutcher, 45, gushed in his note, adding that Masterson was a “role model” to him.
Meanwhile, Kunis for her part, shared that “The Ranch” alum was an “amazing friend” and like an “older brother figure” to her.

“His caring nature and ability to offer guidance have been instrumental in my growth both personally and professionally,” the “Friends With Benefits” actress, 40, added.
Chrissie Carnell Bixler, one of the three women who accused Masterson of assault and has identified herself after being anonymous during the trial, slammed Kutcher and Kunis via her Instagram Stories.
The actress also took an opportunity to thank Hinshaw for her words, writing, “Topher is a lucky and deserving man.” Grace and Hinshaw have been married since 2016 and share three kids.

Masterson was found guilty of rape during a retrial after the first trial resulted in a hung jury in November 2022. The three women who came forward to make the allegations were all former Scientologists.

One claimed Masterson raped her in 2001 when she was 23; another alleged he raped her in April 2003 when she was 28; and third claimed the actor raped her in 2003 when she was 23. The third accuser’s case was declared a mistrial and dismissed.

Following Masterson’s sentencing, the “Men at Work” alum was placed under 24-surveillance behind bars to monitor him for mental distress.
His wife, Bijou Phillips, reportedly believes he will not harm himself in jail but does think someone else will try to “kill” him.
A source also told the Daily Mail this week that the “Raising Hope” actress, 43, is holding out hope that her husband’s case will be appealed, which his attorneys have said they plan to pursue.
