A TOP telly soap star arrested on suspicion of rape has been told he faces no further action.
The actor allegedly attacked a woman in her 20s after meeting her at a party in London.

The star was arrested and bailed but police said after “extensive enquiries” he has been told the case against him has been dropped.
Detectives quizzed the actor – a familiar face to millions of viewers – for several hours.
It was alleged the attack happened at a residential property in South London late last year.
One source said news of the no further action will “come as a huge relief” to the actor, in his 20s.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “In February 2023, police began an investigation after a woman in her 20s reported she was raped while at a residential address in the Southwark area on 30 December 2022.
“She was supported by specially trained officers.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape and later bailed.
“Following extensive enquiries, no further action will be taken and the case has been closed. Both parties have been informed.”
The Sun exclusively revealed in February the actor had been arrested.
At the time a TV source said the allegations “sent shockwaves through the soap he works on”.
