Kelsey, who has two children with Tom, started dating Kent builder Sean, 44, eight months after Tom’s passing last March.
The Wanted singer died aged 33 after being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.
A source said: “Kelsey has ended her relationship with Sean and is focusing on herself and the kids.
“The anniversary of Tom’s death last month was incredibly difficult. Being alone is the best thing for Kelsey at this point in time.

“After Tom passed away Kelsey threw herself into work and the children. But as Tom’s anniversary approached she realised how much she was struggling and decided to end it with Sean.
“Kelsey is being supported by her family and friends and is trying to keep her head up for the children.”
Sean, who served four years behind bars for manslaughter in 2013, is said to have understood Kelsey’s decision.
He started dating Kelsey after they were introduced through friends.
They went public with their relationship last November at a pal’s wedding.
The source added: “Kelsey and Sean might not be together anymore but naturally they will continue to care for each other as friends.”
A spokesperson for Kelsey declined to comment.

Kelsey, who has Aurelia Rose, three, and Bhodi Thomas, two, with Tom, marked the anniversary of his funeral on social media on Thursday and shared a video that had been made from the day of his funeral.
She shared the emotional clip on Instagram and said: “A year ago today we laid you to rest. Feels like yesterday but also it was a lifetime ago. Another milestone.
“This is the first time I’ve watched this and I wasn’t sure if I should share it.”
Kelsey added: “I was asked if I wanted to film that day and I immediately said yes but was met with confusion.
“I think it made some people feel uncomfortable that we’d film such a sad day but I knew I’d want to remember it, it was another big part of Tom and I knew I’d want to look back on it and remember and of course share with the kids when they’re older.”
In the post, Kelsey continued: “I’m not going to lie, it’s all feeling pretty tough right now.
“I miss you Tom. So much it hurts like hell. But I have to remember what I have to be grateful for.
“The beautiful home and children you left me and this army of supporters who have held me close this last year. We have laughed, cried and had many moments of saying nothing at all but knowing the unspoken words in our hearts.”
Kelsey spoke to The Sun about Tom’s legacy ahead of the first anniversary of his passing.
She said: “I have got big plans for this year to keep fundraising and keep pushing for more awareness.
“I still have so many people messaging me saying, ‘This person has a brain tumour,’ and ‘This person has a brain tumour,’ it is so difficult.
“When Tom was diagnosed the treatment had not changed in 30 years. This has to change.

“For us as a family, when Tom was diagnosed, brain tumours get one percent of funding. Every two hours someone is diagnosed with a brain tumour.
“Tom was doing all this work and now he has passed over the baton to me.”
