This is Where Meri Brown Stands With All of Her Former Sister Wives

Meri Brown announced the end of her plural marriage in January 2023, over a year after Christine Brown walked away from the family and months after Janelle Brown called it quits. While all three women were once sister wives, their relationships with each other were always complicated. Meri Brown recently updated fans on where she stands with the other women who were once married to Kody Brown. That includes Robyn Brown, his only remaining partner.

Meri Brown has no relationship with Christine or Robyn Brown

Meri Brown might have spent decades in a plural marriage, but that doesn’t mean she’s actively trying to maintain a relationship with the woman with whom she once shared a husband. During a chat with Us Weekly in December 2024, Meri broke down exactly where she stands with her former sister wives. She admitted that she has no connection to Christine Brown or Robyn Brown.

During the chat, Meri revealed that she and Christine have not connected in the years since they both left Kody Brown, save for at family events. Meri revealed that she and Christine’s “paths” don’t “align.” Despite that, Meri insists that there is no bad blood and wishes Christine all the best.

Her relationship with Robyn Brown, Kody’s fourth wife, is a bit more complicated. Meri said she’d like to be able to maintain a relationship with Robyn’s children, but it’s complicated. The TV personality admitted she and her former sister wife are not seeing eye-to-eye. Meri said she believes Robyn might not be OK with the boundaries she has set following her split. Still, the small business owner appears unbothered by it. Meri said that they rarely speak, but it isn’t much different than it had been in years past.

Janelle and Meri Brown are in a much better place

Meri was a bit warmer when describing her interactions with Janelle Brown. Interestingly, Janelle is the sister wife with whom she appeared to have the iciest relationship while they were still married to Kody Brown. Meri told the publication that she and Janelle occasionally connect and have been “cordial.” While the description of their relationship might not seem all that cozy, it is markedly friendlier than before. Their troubled connection was the focus of several Sister Wives episodes. In one episode, the former sister’s wives revealed they found it stressful to even be in the same vehicle.

Janelle has had a similar take on her relationship with Meri Brown. Neither is misguided enough to think they’ll be best friends anytime soon. Still, Janelle recently revealed that she had worked with Meri on a project. During an episode of Rogue Energy, Janelle said their interactions had been “pleasant.” She said she believed Meri Brown was much happier in her new life.
