‘You’re telling these girls that you want them to move in with you,’ Brittany said to her ex during part 2 of ‘The Valley’ Season 2 reunion.
The gloves were off during part 2 of The Valley Season 2 reunion.
In the August 5 episode, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor picked over the bones of their failed marriage. While Brittany made it clear that she had no regrets about her decision to file for divorce last year, Jax admitted that he sometimes questioned whether splitting up was the right decision.
Jax Taylor admits he and Brittany Cartwright are ‘toxic’
“There’s days where I’m like, ‘Yes, we should get divorced because we are toxic,’ he said. “Then there’s days where we’ll be getting along, and I’m like, ‘Is this the right f*cking move?’ And I’ll even text her.”
Brittany replied that it was “hard” for her to hear her ex say such things, especially after his behavior during their marriage and after their breakup. But Jax insisted that he was “confused” about their relationship.
“I know we’re not good together. I know that,” he said. “But it’s still f*cking hard. I’m a human being. I had 10 years with this woman.”
Brittany wasn’t buying Jax’s pleas for a reconciliation.
“You’re saying this, but simultaneously I’m getting DMs from girls that you’re love bombing,” she shared. “You’re telling these girls that you want them to move in with you.”
“The fact that these women come into my DMs and send me screen shots of the disgusting texts that you send them, is horrible,” she added.
Jax protested that he didn’t “know how to handle” their messy divorce.
“So, you try to hurt me with all these girls and doing all that,” Brittany fired back. “And I’m like, ‘I don’t deserve to have to read this stuff.’ It hurts me.”
Brittany says her relationship with Jax is ‘horrible’
The Valley reunion was filmed in May. In July, Brittany appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. She said that her and Jax’s divorce was not final. She also said that their relationship was “horrible” and that he was not stepping up as a parent to their three-year-old son,
“[There’s] no trust whatsoever,” she said.
One thing that Brittany is happy about? Jax’s decision to leave The Valley after this season.
“I found out the night before [the announcement],” she said. “And I was like, that was a great decision. By everyone.”
The Valley Season 2 reunion continues Tuesday, August 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. It streams the next day on Peacock.
