SLADE have announced they’re putting on a huge festive show, 50 years after releasing Merry Xmas Everybody.
The UK’s ultimate Christmas band are thought make one million pounds each year in royalties from the mega-hit.

So, it’s only fitting they put on an extravaganza to get fans into the yuletide spirit.
The Wolverhampton-founded group are performing at O2 Academy Oxford on Friday 22 December.
But only one original bandmember remains involved today, as Noddy Holder, Jim Lea and Don Powell are no longer performing with Slade.
Dave Hill will be joined by newbies Russell Keefe, Alex Bines and John Berry as they celebrate five decades of their biggest hit.
It appears Noddy will be putting on his own concert at home, as he recently revealed his surprise Christmas ritual.

The rocker admitted he wakes his wife Suzan on the big day by shouting his classic line, “It’s Christmas,” at her in bed.
It comes after she shared a health update on her husband after his “horrifying” cancer diagnosis.
Noddy was given just six months to live when he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer five years ago.
Suzan, who married Noddy in 2004, kept his cancer battle a secret from all but immediate family and close friends until last month.
He has since endured a gruelling course of experimental chemotherapy and is doing so well he’s returned to the stage.
In an interview on GB News, the journalist and author assured fans he’s doing well for the time being.
