‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 2 Gets Hulu Premiere Date

Brace yourself. Hulu is headed back to Utah for another scandalous season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

The reality series about a group of Mormon mom influencers caught up in a swinging sex scandal made waves when it premiered in September 2024. The first episode became Hulu’s most-watched unscripted season premiere of the year, according to Deadline. That prompted the streamer to quickly order another 20 episodes. And fans won’t have to wait long to see the next chapter of the MomTokers’ story. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 premieres this May on Hulu.

‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 2 premieres May 15

All 10 episodes of the sophomore season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives drop Thursday, May 15.

In the new episodes, “the scandalous world of Mormon #MomTok is back and bigger than ever,” according to Hulu’s description.

“When an original swinger from their infamous sex scandal makes a surprise return, friendships threaten to unravel as secrets, lies, and allegations explode,” the season 2 synopsis continues. “In a battle for the soul of #MomTok, will betrayal shatter the sisterhood, or will the truth set them free?”

Who’s back for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2? All your favorites will return. That includes Taylor Frankie Paul (@taylorfrankiepaul), Demi Engemann (@demilucymay_), Jen Affleck (@jenniferaffleckk), Jessi Ngatikaura (@_justjessiiii), Layla Taylor (@laylaleannetaylor), Mayci Neeley (@maycineeley), Mikayla Matthews (@mikaylamatthews), and Whitney Leavitt (@whitneyleavitt).

Affleck, who is currently expecting her third child with husband Zac Affleck, said filming the second season of the show while pregnant has been challenging, especially given fan criticism of her marriage and her dynamic with her husband. She recently checked herself into a wellness retreat to focus “on healing and working through trauma,” she shared on her Instagram Story.

“Season 1 took a toll, not only on my marriage but also on my mental health,” she told People in February. “There were many dark days. There’s so much more to our story than people realize.”

“Filming can be incredibly mentally draining, and adding pregnancy along with all the challenges I faced this last season was a big challenge,” she added. “After dealing with the backlash from season 1 and stepping into season 2 with a lot of baggage, this pregnancy has been the toughest.”
