HE’S kicked off about pretty much everything and everyone during his impressive rise to the top.
But The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has vowed to turn over a new leaf.

The singer says his “era of being an a***hole” is over and he is ready to start a new chapter of positivity in his life.
The surprising change of heart comes after Matty deactivated his Instagram page over the weekend, leaving fans baffled and gutted at his sudden disappearance.
Matty, the son of Loose Women’s Denise Welch and actor Tim Healy, says he’s quit social media as he simply wants to be a “normal bloke” as soon as he steps off stage.
On stage in Adelaide, in Oz, on Monday during the band’s Australian tour, Matty said: “It’s (coming off social media) because everything happens in eras. The 1975 is a very eras band. The era of me being a f***ing a***hole is coming to an end. I’ve had enough.

“I perform all the time and it’s my job and I love doing this but I can’t perform off the stage any more as I just want to be a bloke.”
Ever since The 1975 dropped their self-titled debut album a decade ago Matty has hit the headlines for countless weird and often explicit rants.
In January his bandmates were forced to cut him off live on stage in Leeds after he tried to launch into yet another tirade.
Matty has made fans grimace by eating raw meat on stage and French kissed his supporters mid show too.
His rants don’t just stop on stage either. Last October h told Irish fan Dervla her name “sounded like something you move gravel with” during a meet-and-greet session.
He’s also said dating Taylor Swift would be “a de-masculating, emasculating thing” and has said his “type” was simply “hot girls”.
While I can’t say I agree with a lot of what comes out of Matty’s mouth, music needs out spoken rockers, even if they do anger me at times.
Though if you ask me, Matty’s era of being wholesome and polite won’t last long.

MYLEENE KLASS clearly can’t wait for summer, stepping out in sunglasses and a crop top.

She was pictured arriving for her show at the Smooth Radio studios in London, after recently revealing her eldest daughter has ambitions in music.
Piano and cello player Ava, who is 15 and studying for GCSEs, has been tapped up by a top artist to feature on their new album.
Myleene, who was in Noughties pop group Hear’Say, wrote on Instagram: “She came in to lay down cello on my latest lullaby album number three and ended up getting headhunted by an epic singer for their up and coming album.”

A source said: “Harry loves Japanese culture so has been picking up the language. He’s by no means fluent but has done really well.”
In Tokyo, he met Japanese musician Haru-omi Hosono whose 1973 album Hosono House inspired the former One Direction singer’s collection Harry’s House.
Harry said: “I heard that record and I was like, ‘I love that’.”

The event, delayed last year after the Queen died on the day it was due to go ahead, will crown the best British album of the year.
Skepta, Dave and Arctic Monkeys have won in the past, while Little Simz triumphed in 2022 for Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.
The 12 nominees for the award, sponsored by ride-hailing app FreeNow, will be announced on July 27.

LOST STU IN KELLY’S DREAMS
STEREOPHONICS’ Kelly Jones says he is visited by his late bandmate Stuart Cable when he sleeps.
The drummer died in 2010 but frontman Kelly said: “Stuart turns up in my dreams at least five times a week. Still to this day, it’s quite strange.
“He was like a big brother to me. He was the one who introduced me to a lot of other music and it was his van we were driving around in.”
He added on the I Never Thought It Would Happen podcast: “Him dying at 40, I’d like to say it was a surprise but in many ways it wasn’t, because he was that kind of character.
“And he was a very, very funny guy. A lot of those comedians have obviously got insecurities underneath as well but you don’t realise that when you’re younger, you just think it’s all bravado.”
Can Leigh Dua it?
LEIGH-ANNE PINNOCK’s pals believe her upcoming debut album could turn her into the next Dua Lipa.

7
The Little Mix singer has played a string of tracks to her friends including one song called Me Minus One, an upbeat pop hit.
I understand enough tracks to fill an album have already been recorded but Leigh-Anne is still putting everything into developing the project.
A source said: “The music she has been working on is really impressive. Leigh-Anne has every chance to follow in the footsteps of Dua and become a superstar in her own right now.
“She is the full package.”
The mum-of-two teased in December: “I’ll be giving you as much music as I can as soon as it’s ready.”
Dua has sold 28million albums, so she has a lot to live up to.
Her bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards are also set to release new music this year but the girls are determined to stick by their pact to not out songs at the same time.
They are keen to avoid a chart war with one another and are also keen to give their pals their moment to shine in the spotlight.

The trio’s former bandmate Jesy Nelson will release her second solo single, Bad Thing, on Friday this week.
When they all start releasing tunes the Little Mix fans will be spoilt for choice.
