Tekashi 6ix9ine calls brutal gym attack unfair and ‘nothing but cowardly’

Tekashi 6ix9ine slammed the three men who attacked him in a South Florida gym earlier this month, calling them “nothing but cowardly.”

The rapper spoke out for the first time on Instagram Friday after being brutally beaten and left in the hospital.

“For 2 years I been walking around with no security,” he captioned a video of the attack. “Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything.”

The “Gooba” rapper, 26, went on to call the men cowards before switching his tune, saying he’s “not mad” about the “unfair” situation.

“In the street there’s no rules so I cant say they were wrong,” he explained, noting that he had “nothing to do with” the business they were trying to settle.

“I’m happy to be here still. And I want to say I love my fans. Thank you,” the rapper continued, before concluding the post with a special message.

“P.S : I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W???”

Police have since arrested Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Medina and Anthony Maldonado for ambushing and attacking the rainbow-haired rapper while he was using the sauna at LA Fitness.

Security videos from that night show two men beelining to the restroom area after seemingly being tipped off by a third person on the inside.

Other clips from the fight show three men standing over the “Mala” rapper, yelling to “shut the f—k up” and punching him as he cowers on the bathroom floor.

The rapper later walked out of the restroom with a bloodied face, saying, “Y’all n–s jumped me.”

Soon after, Tekashi — born Daniel Hernandez — was taken to a nearby hospital to treat injuries to his jaw, ribs and back, as well as cuts and bruises.

His attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that he plans to get the convicted felon a security detail.

Tekashi pled guilty to racketeering and other charges in 2019. He originally faced decades behind bars but was granted early release from prison in 2020 for testifying against his former gang, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

It’s unclear if the gym attack is related to his snitching.
