Let freedom ring.
Taylor Swift cheekily made her relationship status known in an Instagram post Friday amid rumors that she has rekindled her romance with Matty Healy.
The “All Too Well” singer shared photos from her Fourth of July celebration earlier this week and captioned the post, “Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies 😎.”
In the slideshow, Swift appeared alongside some of her closest gal pals, including Selena Gomez and the band Haim, making silly faces while lying down on the grass, drinking wine and eating red, white and blue popsicles.
The Haim sisters posted the same images on their Instagram Friday and drove the point home:
“Single summer,” they captioned their pics.
Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, broke up in June following a whirlwind romance, but a source claimed this week that the pair “decided they definitely want to make it work at all costs.”
However, an insider told Page Six at the time that the report was “all BS,” while another source said the exes are “absolutely not together and aren’t even in contact anymore.”
The second insider insisted that the “Wildest Dreams” singer is “enjoying being single and has been spending time in the studio and hanging out with friends in New York City.”
Swift and the frontman of The 1975 go way back, first sparking dating rumors in 2014.

However, they appeared to give their romance a real shot earlier this year following the “Bad Blood” singer’s split from longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
In May, a source claimed to The Sun that Swift and Healy had recently started dating and really got to know each other by “FaceTiming and texting.”
The British crooner later attended Swift’s concert in Nashville, further fueling the rumors that they were a couple.

Their romance quickly turned hot and heavy, and they were spotted kissing on a private date in New York City.
Healy was also seen rushing into Swift’s Tribeca penthouse and stopping by the music studio with the Grammy winner.
However, Swift and Healy ultimately called it quits due to their busy schedules.
An insider also claimed to Entertainment Tonight in June that the musicians realized “they’re not really compatible with each other.”
The source also added, “Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship.”
Aside from having more girls’ nights, Swift is in the midst of her Eras Tour. She also dropped Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), the re-recording of her third studio album, Friday.
