On it, she made fun of rumours she is having an affair with Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell, despite being engaged to somebody else.
Talking of her loving fiance, she asked cameras to cut to him in the studio — only for Powell to pop up.
Last April, the rumour mill went into overdrive after reports emerged that the movie co-stars had both split with their respective partners.
The sparks between Sydney and Glen, 34, were first spotted as they filmed their new rom-com, Anyone But You, in Australia, with sources on the set saying there was “unmistakable chemistry”.
Breakout star Sydney has starred in a number of hit films and television series over the past few years.
In 2018, she appeared as recurring character Eden in The Handmaid’s Tale.
Her character was dramatically killed off within a few episodes.
A year later, she snagged a role in Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 dramedy, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
She went on to play Cassie Howard in the cult HBO drama Euphoria.
In 2021, she had a leading role in another HBO series, black comedy The White Lotus.
