CALVIN HARRIS might be the richest DJ in the world with a fortune of over £230million.
But the Scottish producer has gone back to his roots with his latest business investment closer to home — and has snapped up a boozer in Dumfries where he used to drink before he got famous.

Calvin has teamed up with best pal Mark Irving to buy the Coach & Horses Inn, which is tucked away in a corner of the town.
A source said: “Calvin and Mark have gone into business together and created a company called To The Nines. They’ve now taken over the Coach & Horses and Mark is in place as the landlord.
“It’s a gorgeous pub with a great atmosphere. It’s a great grass-roots music venue too, which is something they’re both really proud of.
“Calvin used to drink there before he got famous and there is a signed poster for his first album on the wall.
Sober for years
“It’s a hard time for pubs but the Coach & Horses Inn is thriving.”
The old landlord of the boozer, John Owens, has spoken previously about Calvin — real name Adam Wiles — drinking in the pub before he hit the big time.
He said: “Calvin, or Adam, is a pleasant chap, always has been. We’re all proud of him. When he’s home he’ll pop in if he gets the chance.”
There’s no worries about Calvin drinking the profits either, as he has been sober for years now so will be sticking to soft drinks.
Back to his day job and Calvin — who also owns a farm in Ibiza and a posh house in North London where he lives with his wife, Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope — is looking to chart this week.
After quitting singing 15 years ago, he’s back on vocal duties for his new song, Smoke The Pain Away, which came out last week.
Is there nothing he can’t turn his hand to?
Bludy like you, John
YUNGBLUD looked like he was channelling John Travolta after hitting a gym in New York.
The punk rocker reminded me of Grease’s Danny Zuko as he ran his hands through his hair following a workout at Gotham Gym.
Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, has been hard at work getting fit for Bludfest – his one-day festival on June 21 at the Milton Keynes Bowl.
This year he has lined up acts including Chase Atlantic and Rachel Chinouriri to perform alongside him at the event.
When I last caught up with him for a chat, Yungblud – whose new single Hello Heaven, Hello is out today – told me he was quitting booze and doing weights to get buff.
It’s clearly paying off.
ARIANA SINGS ABOUT WICKED TIME IN LONDON
ARIANA GRANDE has been inspired by the UK on a new song, which was written about the area she lived in while shooting Wicked.
She has revealed the tracklisting for her upcoming album, Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead, and it includes a tune called Hampstead.
Bizarre first revealed in September 2022 that she had rented a mega mansion in the exclusive area of North London while making the two Wicked films – the second part is due out later this year.
She originally relocated there with the hope that her then-husband Dalton Gomez would spend time with her, but they split up during filming and she later got together with her co-star Ethan Slater.
Other new tracks on the record include Intro (End of the World) Extended, Twilight Zone, Warm, Dandelion and Past Life.
Speaking about life here last month, Ari said: “[The UK] is my favourite, I miss it here so much.
“I was in Hampstead when I was here, and I loved my walks on the heath.
“I loved meandering around and visiting different shops and places and pubs. I didn’t know what a Sunday roast was, but I know that that’s a thing now.”
ROBERT PATTINSON’s Mickey 17 has topped the UK box office for a second week, taking £1.24million at the weekend.
It was closely followed by Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, bringing in £1.2m, while Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender’s thriller Black Bag came third with almost £900k.
Meanwhile, Danny Dyer’s Marching Powder is still going strong at No4 and has now made £2.1m at cinemas.
Khy’s the limit for Kylie
TIMOTHEE CHALAMET is one very lucky man to be dating Kylie Jenner.
And I’m sure this latest photoshoot will get the Oscar nominee’s heart beating a little bit faster.

The model and reality star posed in a skimpy latex dress to show off her brand Khy’s new collection, which is in collaboration with British womenswear label Poster Girl.
Kylie said: “We’ve poured so much passion into every detail, making sure each piece feels both nostalgic and modern.
“The high-shine, body-skimming latex is the star of the show, and is the perfect blend of sexy and sophisticated.
“This collection is all about celebrating confidence, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
I’ll take your word for it, Kylie.
I’m not sure trying to squeeze into this would give me much confidence.
SUDDENLY KT SEES THE BIG 5-O
KT TUNSTALL is going all out for her 50th birthday this summer.
The Scottish star will celebrate the milestone with a huge one-off performance in London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 23 – and it’s fair to say she’s more than a little excited.

7
“I was going to open some cans in the kitchen with some friends,” KT, right, tells me in an exclusive chat.
“But now I’ll just have some backstage with me. I am so excited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall. It’s a first for me. And what a way to turn 50.”
It’s a big year for KT, whose debut album Eye To The Telescope has just turned 20.
And the milestones keep coming, with KT writing the music for the hit new West End version of the classic film Clueless.
As for the impact of her music, including her runaway hit Suddenly I See, KT admits she is still blown away by people’s reactions to her songs.
KT says: “Having young people telling me they have started playing guitar or they write songs because of my music makes me feel so grateful. The things we’ve made still touch people and it still feels relevant.”
DIFFERENT TRACKS FOR LEWIS
LEWIS HAMILTON has a big year ahead in his first season with Ferrari, but he has also been in the driving seat at the studio.
We have learned that the Formula One ace has recorded an entire album of his own music – but is refusing to release it.

7
Lewis was spotted last week holding his phone, which appeared to show he was listening to a song called Lean On Me from an album called LH.
But I’ve been told he is keeping his focus on racing, so he doesn’t want to put the project out.
An insider said: “Lewis is a massive music fan and gets a lot of joy from being in the studio.
“He has a whole album’s worth of music at this point, but he does it for himself rather than for anyone else.
“He loves the process but feels like it would be a distraction from racing if he started releasing it and doing promo.”
TEDDY SWIMS embraced British culture when he got Greggs to cater for the final night of his sold-out UK tour.
After the US singer told of his love for the takeaway chain at the MTV EMAs last November, Greggs pulled up backstage at his gig in Manchester with a van full of sausage rolls and steak slices plus 1,000 pre-loved teddies in reference to his name.

The brand was even renamed Teddys for the night in his honour.
The performer – who posted his appreciation on Instagram, isn’t the only star to admit to loving Greggs.
Jade previously got them to cater for her birthday party while actor Jake Gyllenhaal loves their baguettes.
