STRICTLY Come Dancing faves Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice found themselves in trouble with the law while filming their new series.
The duo, best known for hot-stepping around the Strictly dancefloor, found themselves feeling the heat from the police as they were pulled over during their trip to Europe.

The pair, whose series Adventures In Sicily will air later this year on the BBC, seized the opportunity to drive around the country in a Maserati – but soon lived to regret it.
While discussing what happened, Anton played coy, revealing the whole thing was filmed for the series, but he explained to The Mirror: “We had a lovely car and Gio said, ‘Don’t drive too fast’ and it was quite a fast car.
“I don’t want to be a spoiler but suffice to say, I got pulled over.”
“They wanted documents, and I did not have documents,” he added.

It seems he took it in good spirits though, and added: “I have never been cavity searched in my life but I enjoyed it!”

Giovanni, a Sicily native, was a bit more pragmatic about the situation, and explained: “It was that kind of car that when you drive around Sicily, you get very noticed.”
“[The police] want to know who you are, documents and everything.”
The new series will see the boys on their own adventures after being pals since 2015. As well as heading off on dance tours together, they are now traveling the Sicilian island.
They get pulled over in Palermo, which has recently been made famous thanks to The White Lotus season 2.
While on the trip, Giovanni will be reunited with his Strictly co-star Rose Ayling-Ellis, with whom he won the 2021 series with.
