STONE Roses star Mani has been left devastated following the death of his wife following her lengthy battle with cancer.
Imelda Mounfield has died at the age of 52 today, her family have confirmed.

The tragic news was announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday afternoon by Happy Mondays member Rowetta.

“So beautiful, so brave, so LOVED. We’re all going to miss you Imelda Mounfield,” she wrote.
“All my thoughts and love to Mani and your beautiful, precious boys and love to all Imelda’s family and friends.”
Ian Brown, a member of Stone Roses, also paid a touching tribute to Mounfield.
He wrote: “Rip @imeldamounfield GOD BLESS MANI and his boys X”.
