Steve Brady will return for season 3 of ‘And Just Like That…’ His participation was drawn into question when he didn’t appear on set during filming.
The cast of And Just Like That… wrapped filming on season 3 in late October 2024. While fans await news of the season’s release date, they have many questions about who will be included in the cast. Over the course of several months, several key players, including John Corbett, were spotted on set during filming. New characters were revealed, too. However, David Eigenberg, the actor who plays Steve Brady, never popped up with his co-stars. Eigenberg’s absence left many fans worried that the beloved character would not return for a third season. A recent reshoot proves that Steve Brady will be included in season 3.

The season finale of And Just Like That… season 2 seemed to finally put Miranda Hobbes and Steve Brady’s relationship to rest. By the end of season 2, both Miranda and Steve had moved on from their troubled marriage and had little left to discuss as Brady Hobbes aged out of childhood. If Steve didn’t appear in the series again, it wouldn’t have come as much of a surprise. While it wouldn’t have been surprising, it certainly would have saddened fans. Many have grown to love the Queens-born bartender over the years.
In fact, many fans were expecting not to see Steve return the longer filming for season 3 went on without him. In October 2024, the official Instagram page for the series revealed filming was over. Without a trace of David Eigenberg on set throughout the summer and fall, many people were certain he wouldn’t return. A reshoot, however, has revealed that Steve Brady will be back.
David Eigenberg appears for ‘And Just Like That…’ months after filming officially wrapped
While David Eigenberg wasn’t seen on the set of And Just Like That… while season 3 was being filmed, he is involved in the project. He was spotted filming scenes with his co-star just this month. Earlier this month, Photographers captured Eigenberg and Cynthia Nixon, the actor who plays Miranda Hobbes, shooting scenes together on January 23. The on-screen duo were spotted in Astoria.
The reshoot, months after the production team wrapped filming, is certainly interesting. It was unclear exactly how Steve will play into this season’s storyline. We can make an assumption about Steve and Miranda’s relationship based on the photos, though. Based on the body language of the two characters, it is clear that Steve and Miranda are not on the way to mending their relationship. In fact, it appears the scene will be a tense scene between the two.
