PROMISING South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has been found dead at her home aged just 24.
Kim, who starred in Netflix hit Bloodhounds, was discovered by her close friend who quickly alerted police, an official close to the case said on Sunday.

Kim quickly moved over to television as she started to take on more challenging roles before finding critical acclaim in Drama series Snowy Road.
Her top performance as a 15-year-old girl in the World War II show earned her the Best Actress in a Foreign Film award at the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.
Kim quickly shot to fame on social media as she started to appear in a number of South Korean hits.
She even boasted 3.6 million followers on Instagram.
Her final role was also seen as her most popular as she worked alongside Netflix for the action hit Bloodhounds in 2023 where she played Cha Hyeon-ju.
The show is an eight-part series based on the webtoon Sanyanggaedeul by Jung Chan.
The show was set to start filming for a second series in the coming months, it has been reported.
Despite having a highly successful 15-year career, Kim was forced to take a hiatus from acting in 2022 after being hit with drink driving charges, reports South Korean media.
Kim was reportedly caught by police after crashing her car in Gangnam, Seoul.
She was due to be in the SBS drama Trolley but stepped down from the show after investigations over the crash started.
