In an Instagram video, Snoop Dogg responded to people who criticized him for performing at an inaugural event in honor of Donald Trump.

Snoop Dogg isn’t fazed by the hate.

On Sunday, the rapper shared a video on Instagram where he responded to the criticism he’s received for performing at the Crypto Ball ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration.

“For all the hate, I’m going to answer with love,” he said in the Jan. 26 video.

“Get your life right, stop worrying about mine,” he added. “I’m cool. I’m together. Still a Black man. Still 100% Black. All out ’til you ball out or ’til you fall out.”

Snoop Dogg has faced backlash since performing at the Jan. 17 event. Attendees included major players in the crypto industry, according to Reuters, though not Trump himself.

Soulja Boy, another Crypto Ball performer, also defended his decision to participate in the Trump-friendly celebration. In a video (via The Shade Room), he said, “they paid me a bag” and that “Trump put money in my pocket.”

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has walked back his previous criticism of the president.

“He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me,” the “Gin and Juice” rapper said in a 2024 interview with the Sunday Times. “He pardoned [Death Row Records co-founder] Michael Harris. So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
