SHERDIAN Smith has paid tribute to friend Paul Cattermole after he was found dead at home.
The actress, 41, said she felt “sick” after hearing the tragic news and praised Paul as an “amazing” man.

Today it was confirmed S Club 7 singer Paul had passed away aged 46 just weeks after the band confirmed plans to reunite for their 25th anniversary.
Sheridan revealed that she lived with the singer for many years during their time at musical theatre school.
The TV star shared her heartbreak alongside a photo of Paul, writing: “Devastated beyond words. We all grew up together in the NYMT then all lived together for years.
“He was an amazing man and my heart breaks for his friends, family and loves ones.


“Thinking of Han and Neil and his bandmates too. Too young. Feel sick.”
Following the shock news celebrities took to social media to pay tribute and send condolences to Paul’s family, friends and bandmates.
Rylan, 34, tweeted: “@sclub7 sending all the love to you all xxx.”
Scottish broadcaster Lorraine Kelly described Paul as “gentle and shy” as she paid tribute to the singer.
“This is so sad. Lovely man and he was so looking forward to the #sclub7 reunion,” she tweeted.
A statement from Paul’s family said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole.

“Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.
“Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
Meanwhile, the band paid tribute with a touching Instagram post in memory of their co-star.
The tribute read: “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.
“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.
“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.
“He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us.
“We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”
The new tour was due to take place in October, with 11 dates in both the UK and Ireland, including Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and London.


All seven original members of the group – Paul, Hannah, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O’Meara – had agreed to reunite.
The Sun understands there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death.
