THE Pogues singer Shane MacGowan has been rushed to hospital, his wife revealed today.
Victoria May Clarke shared a picture of the 64-year-old Fairytale of New York singer in a heartbreaking update.

She tweeted: “Please send prayers and healing vibes to @ShaneMacGowan in hospital again and really hoping to get out asap!! Thank you.”
Victoria, 56, did not say what is wrong with the star, who has faced health problems in recent years.

He was last seen in November, when he used a wheelchair to attend an exhibition of his own art.
Fans quickly obliged after the tweet today, with one writing: “God bless ya Shane absolute legend here’s hoping for a speedy recovery mate.”
Another wrote: “Sending love, positivity and prayers for a beautiful man.”
Just days ago, Shane went viral after becoming one of the music world’s least likely TikTok users.
The singer has so far posted several videos on the platform, including one where he tells Danny Baker he’s written some great songs but “doesn’t like to boast”.
