Selena Gomez, 30, posted a TikTok on Thursday showing off a surprising new hairstyle.
In the short clip, the “Lose You To Love Me” singer tries out a brand new hair drying technique – blowing a short, pastel rainbow wig dry underneath a hand dryer in a public restroom before giggling at the camera.
“You gotta do what you gotta do,” the “My Mind & Me” documentary star captioned the playful post, proving she doesn’t need expensive beauty tools.
However, some were horrified by her choice of public restroom as a glam room.
One fan was worried by “the amount of germs coming off those things” begging her to “please be safe!” while using the hand dryer.
When another commenter wrote, “Wonder if she realizes all those things do is collect [and] blow the fecal matter all over the place,” Gomez responded with “Hahaha facts.”

Selenators were excited to see the return of the rainbow wig, which she originally wore in February 2021 in photos shared by her hairstylist, Evanie Frausto.
The Rare Beauty founder paired her pastel pink and blue wig with a silk turquoise top and ripped jeans, which also rang bells for eagle-eyed fans who remember her 2021 look.
Apparently, Gomez liked the whole look so much that she re-created it head to toe, appearing to wear the exact same outfit, though she paired it a Louis Vuitton coat at the time.
“Selena hitting us with a throwback,” one commenter praised.
In the TikTok comments section, fans compared the “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum to Enid from the new Netflix series “Wednesday” who has a similar hairstyle, writing, “She’s in her Enid era.”
While it’s unclear what occasion the wig footage was from, the actress was in party mode, with fans pointing out the vape pen she was holding. One joked, “the dab pen i see you girl,” which the “Only Murders in the Building” star liked.
