During Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, the prosecution presented 34 witnesses. These witnesses included public figures, law enforcement officers, Combs’ former employees, and past romantic partners. A number of these witnesses also testified anonymously. One of these witnesses, a former girlfriend of Combs’, testified under the pseudonym “Jane.” One of her answers elicited gasps from the courtroom.

On June 12, 2025, Jane finished a grueling 24 hours of testimony. She alleged that Combs made her take part in sex marathons with multiple hired men and transport drugs for him.
Jane also told the jury about the way he leveraged his financial power to influence her. He allegedly pressured her to change her appearance, and then reminded her of that when he wanted something from her. He also paid her $10,000 each month for rent, totaling $150,000 throughout their relationship. When she seemed hesitant to do what he said, he reminded her of her financial reliance on him.
“Well, get over it please,” he texted her, per USA Today. “Look at the roof over your head and that pretty smile. I don’t want to do anything if that’s still an issue.”
When prosecutor Maurene Comey asked Jane how she pays her rent now, she said that Combs still does. Her answer caused people in the courtroom to audibly gasp.
Combs’ trial is still ongoing. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
