During Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, many people in the disgraced mogul’s life have testified. Combs’ former partners, employees, and more have spoken about him in front of the jury. Many have wondered if Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, will testify in his own defense. While he reportedly wanted to, sources now say Combs will not take the stand during his trial.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will not testify at his trial
Combs’ trial began on May 12, 2025. Combs has sat quietly as people have spoken about his life and the allegations against him. He has not taken the stand, something his lawyer said he hoped to do.
“I don’t know that I can keep him off the stand,” Marc Agnifilo said in the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy. “I think he is very eager to tell his story. And I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the videos.”
Agnifilo said that only Combs can tell his own story, but many legal experts have said that testifying would be a huge mistake for him. Despite his initial wishes, Combs will reportedly not testify in his trial. Multiple sources confirmed to People that Combs will not testify in his own defense as the trial winds down.
