Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Advisors ‘Begging Him’ to Give His Kids ‘Guidelines’ on How to Act, Source Alleges

The family of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs greeted the split verdict with an emotional mix of relief and loyalty. As the court announced not guilty on the most serious counts of sex trafficking and racketeering, his mother, Janice Combs, said, “My heart was fluttering.” And his sons, Christian “King,” 27, and Justin, 31, publicly celebrated, expressing hope and joy at the relief of not facing more severe charges. Now, it looks like Diddy’s kids might be a little bit too celebratory in the public eye. Here’s what a source said about the mogul’s advisors warning him to tell his kids to rein in their behavior.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ kids are ‘acting like they haven’t got a care in the world’ after the trial verdict, a source says

Throughout Sean “Diddy” Combs’ tumultuous trial and the mixed verdict that followed, his kids have remained unwaveringly by his side. From court appearances to social media tributes, Christian “King,” Justin, Chance, and twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs were frequently present during key moments. When the not-guilty verdicts on the most serious charges were read, Christian reportedly whispered thanks to God in relief.

After the verdict, Combs’ kids have reportedly been ecstatic and eager to see Diddy potentially walk away with a minimal sentence. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been a good look for the hip-hop mogul. A source told RadarOnline that Diddy’s advisors warned him to tell his kids to rein in their celebrations.

“They’ve shown up to court to support him, but they’re also out acting like they haven’t got a care in the world,” a source revealed. “It’s a terrible look!”

“His advisors are telling him he’s gotta give his kids guidelines on how to act,” another insider mentioned.

Recently, Christian and Kanye “Ye” West spent time together. West also arrived at Diddy’s trial with Christian by his side. “Christian should not be hanging with Kanye right now,” another source noted.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sons, Christian ‘King’ and Justin Combs, allegedly appeared ‘jubilant’ after the trial

Christian “King” Combs and Justin Combs allegedly weren’t afraid to show their happiness after their father’s trial. While the jury found Sean “Diddy” Combs guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, his kids saw this as a win.

“They were jubilant,” NewsNation producer Tommy Christaldi noted after seeing Justin and Christian jumping in the Manhattan courthouse elevator. “They were jumping up and down to the point where I really thought the elevator might break.” Christaldi noted that the men “were banging on the [elevator] doors, shouting, ‘Let’s go! Let’s go!’ It was a lot.”

Diddy’s kids allegedly told a reporter they felt “overjoyed” with the trial outcome. They even suggested that they might spend July 4th with their father. However, this didn’t happen. The judge ordered that Diddy stay behind bars ahead of his sentencing on Oct. 3, 2025.

Justin Combs and his famous father were hit with a lawsuit before the federal trial ended

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial has ended. But he’s not finished with his lawsuits just yet. According to The Guardian, he and his son, Justin Combs, were accused in a new lawsuit of “brutal gang-rape” in 2017.

According to the allegations in the June 2025 filing, Justin used Diddy’s fame to “lure [the] plaintiff, a young female, from Louisiana to Los Angeles, where she was literally held prisoner for a weekend and repeatedly raped” by Justin, Diddy, and two other masked men.

Diddy also still faces a slew of other civil lawsuits. He currently has 80 pending physical and sexual assault lawsuits.
