RACHEL Stevens paid a heartfelt tribute to Paul Cattermole live on air today following his shock death.
Last week it was confirmed S Club 7 singer Paul had died at home in Dorset aged 46.

During her Heart 00s radio show, Rachel, 45, shared some touching words for her friend and bandmate.
She said: “It’s a bit of an emotional show for me today. If you didn’t know we very sadly lost one of our best friends and bandmates Paul.
“And although it’s an incredibly sad time for all of us it feels really really special to be honouring Paul.

“He was such a kind and gentle soul and I know that he loved nothing more than making people happy.


“Although we are heartbroken, we are so grateful for the memories we share together.”
Earlier this week Rachel was seen for the first time since Paul’s death, shortly after dedicating a social media post to him.
Alongside a black and white snap of Paul from early in his pop career, she wrote on Instagram: “Thank you so much for all your beautiful messages of love and support.
“The out pouring of love for our Paul has been so incredibly special and has meant so much. I hope he knew how loved he was.
“Such a kind, gentle and sensitive soul with the most incredible energy and such a wild free spirit. He would light up any room.
“We are heartbroken but so grateful for the memories we all shared.
“An absolute shining star who we will love and miss always
RIP darling Paul.”
