It has been years since Ryan Edwards trashed the home he once lived in after Mackenzie Standifer kicked him to the curb. It’s been just as long since they began divorce proceedings. Despite the lengthy court battle and lots of tension, the former Teen Mom couple is officially no longer husband and wife. While final details on custody and child support still need to be worked out, the troubled couple is no longer married, which frees Edwards up to finally marry the woman with whom he has a new child. The duo, who met during court-ordered rehab, have been engaged for months. It frees up Standifer’s time to attend to some romance drama she has going on, too.
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer are officially divorced
Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer are no longer legally wed. The long, winding process to end their marriage has taken more than two years. A judge signed off on the process, which began in February 2023, on Aug. 15.
According to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, both Edwards and Standifer were in court for the final judgment. They still have some custody issues to work out, but legally, they are officially over. A judge also lowered the amount of child support Edwards must pay each month during the hearing. The decision came after Edwards submitted paperwork claiming his salary was slashed when Teen Mom: The Next Chapter went on hiatus. It’s unclear whether the show will return at all.
Edwards and Standifer share two children, Jagger and Stella. Edwards also has a son, Bentley, from a previous relationship. Standifer’s son from a previous marriage, Hudson, does not factor into the support negotiations.
Ryan Edwards’ fiancée is happier than anyone
While Mackenzie Standifer and Ryan Edwards are probably pretty happy to be legally divorced, no one is more excited about it than the next woman in line ot become Mrs. Edwards. Amanda Conner, who has been engaged to Ryan Edwards since January, took to social media to insist today is a day they’ll “cherish and celebrate.” Edwards and Conner met in rehab in 2023. They left a sober living facility together and moved into a home. In October 2024, they announced their pregnancy after months of speculation. In late 2024, Conner was granted custody of her son from a previous relationship. Conner and Edwards welcomed their daughter, Paisley, in February 2025.
It is unclear when the couple plans to tie the knot, but there truly is nothing standing in their way now. They haven’t announced if they’ll let MTV film the event. Teen Mom fans are divided on whether the network should film the event or not. The last time Ryan Edwards said “I do” on camera, Teen Mom fans were shook. They spent months debating whether the kiss the clearly inebriated Edwards gave his mother, Jenn Edwards, was appropriate. After much discourse, fans of the show fall mostly on the side of “no.”
Mackenzie Standifer has new relationship drama
Mackenzie Standifer is probably happy to have her time back to deal with some relationship drama of her own. In the weeks leading up to finalizing her divorce, social media exploded with rumors that Standifer may have been caught having an affair with the husband of a friend. Rumors surfaced via social media in July 2025, when a woman claimed Mackenzie and her husband had an ongoing “affair,” even posting a photo of them sitting in a car together. However, an insider insisted the rumors were false, suggesting the pair merely carpooled home from the same party.
They’ve been spotted together several times since, and Standifer made a post about having a “man,” which seems to indicate she’s very much involved with someone. Presumably, it’s the man in question. She hasn’t spoken out about the rumors, though.
