Here’s what an expert thinks the Duchess of Sussex will do to steal the limelight away from the royals during Trooping the Colour.
After stepping down from their roles as working royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle complained about how Harry’s family would leak stories to the press. However, the Sussexes have been accused of using that exact playbook by putting out glowing news stories about themselves whenever the royals are marking major milestones or hosting large events in an effort to try and steal the spotlight from the duke’s relatives.
Now with a big royal ceremony on the horizon, one commentator is sharing how Harry’s wife could try to overshadow Britain’s famous family during Trooping the Colour.
Expert explains how Meghan could try to overshadow the event she wasn’t invited to

Unfiltered and To Di for Daily podcast host Kinsey Schofield suggested that because the Sussexes have a history of releasing their own news or photos the same day as the royals, Meghan could be planning something big to unveil the day of or right before the Trooping the Colour takes place on June 15.
Schofield said that Meghan and Harry were not invited to King Charles birthday parade. Therefore, she believes the duchess will try and shift attention to herself just like when she decided to announce her new lifestyle brand the same day Prince William presented the Diana Award to 20 recipients in March.
“I would not be surprised if we saw American Rivera Orchard launch a product around Trooping the Colour,” Schofield said per Express. “What a bizarre thing to launch a brand at the height of a royal health crisis then not have anything tangible available for purchase for months. Clearly, the Sussexes have not learned their lesson and are eager to play the PR game that Harry claims to resent so fiercely in Spare.”
So far, the only product Meghan produced for her brand is 50 jars of jam she sent to her friends and social media influencers to promote.
The duchess won’t be able to outshine the royals if 1 thing happens

The biggest question surrounding this year’s Trooping the Colour parade is whether or not the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton) will attend the event or at least make an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony. So far, the Palace has not confirmed whether she will be there or not. But if she is, any announcement from her sister-in-law that day wouldn’t be the top news story.
Christopher Andersen, author of The King: The Life of Charles III, told Fox News Digital that Kate appearing on the balcony would be great and reassuring to the public.
“The Princess of Wales knows better than anyone what message it would send if she were absent, so I think she’ll make that gesture if it’s at all possible,” Andersen opined before adding, “Unfortunately, at the moment. It appears that she may not be physically up to the challenge. Whether Kate appears or doesn’t, that is bound to be an emotionally charged moment for everyone … She’s soldiering on, making the best of it.”
