Refused have revealed their last European and UK tour following frontman Dennis Lyxzen’s heart attack last summer.

The hardcore punk and alternative rock icons revealed last year that they would be splitting up for the second time.

Refused will be splitting after their final appearances at various festivals this summer.

The band are currently on the road for their final North American tour which is dubbed “Refused Are F**king Dead, and this time they really mean it”.

Announcing the official dates for their European and UK gigs, the band took to social media on Monday.

“Our Farewell Tour is rolling on through Europe this summer, and we’re bringing along some special guests you won’t want to miss,” they penned.

“Then, we’re heading to the UK in October before wrapping things up with a final run through Europe.

“These will be the LAST shows in these cities, so make sure you’re there for the epic finale!

“Tickets for our European shows go on sale this Wednesday, April 2nd! And for our UK and Ireland dates, you can grab your tickets starting Friday, April 4th!

“Don’t wait—these shows are going to sell out fast! Be ready,” they concluded.

Coming to the UK in October, the band will play Glasgow on October 1, Manchester on October 2, London on October 3, and Dublin on October 5.

They will also play Berlin, Paris, Lille, Zurich, and many other locations on their final ever tour.

Fans went wild in the comments section, with one writing: “YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.”

Another penned: “CAN I SCREAM ???!”

While a third added: “So siiick !”

The band were originally meant to split and disband after their “final festival” show at Stockholm’s Rosendal Garden Party.

However, they sadly never got to play it due to vocalist Dennis Lyxzén suffering a heart attack.

Dennis suffered a “massive heart attack” on June 13, 2024.

“We were getting ready to do our comeback show. We hadn’t played in over four years, we were supposed to play a huge festival in Stockholm the next day,” he explained.

Speaking on an episode of his own Dennis Deep Cuts video series, he recalled how he “woke up with insane chest pains”.

“Felt like I was on fire,” he said, noting: “It was pretty horrible.

“But I was mere minutes away from one of the best hospitals in Sweden, and I’m insanely grateful for the medical system that we have set up in Sweden.”

He continued: “They blew up some arteries in my heart, and made sure that I am doing pretty well. It’s hereditary.

“I’m trying to be like, the healthiest person alive, but that didn’t help.

“But then again, my dad had a stroke when he was in his 50s, my uncle had a heart attack when he was in this late 40s, my grandad had a heart attack, so on and so forth.

“So it wasn’t really much that I could do to prevent this from happening.”

The band’s current line up comprises of Dennis Lyxzén — lead vocals; David Sandström — drums; Magnus Flagge (formerly Björklund) — bass; and Mattias Bärjed — guitar.
