ROBSON Green has revealed a shock friendship with a huge pop star.
The TV legend and the chart sensation took in a Newcastle United football match together.

Telly fans did a double-take when they saw the two icons hanging out together.
Robson , 58, was full of beans as he cheered on the Toons with superstar Sam Fender.
Sam, 28, is a Geordie from North Shields, and Jerome, from Northumberland is a life-long supporter of Newcastle United.
The pals punched the air as they took in the atmosphere with fans on the weekend.


Robson shot to fame when he portrayed Fusilier Dave Tucker in Soldier Soldier (1991–95).

In the late 90s Robson was one half of the singing duo Robson & Jerome, the other half being actor Jerome Flynn.
Their music catalogue is composed entirely of covers and the pair had several No. 1 singles.
Robson & Jerome formed in 1995 and sold more than 7 million copies of their albums.
Their version of Unchained Melody stayed at number 1 for 7 weeks on the UK Chart, selling more than 1.8 million copies and becoming the best-selling single of 1995.
Jerome went on to star in epic fantasy series Game of Thrones as Bronn.
Meanwhile Sam is fast becoming an international superstar known for his rock music.
So far in 2022, he has picked up the Brit Award for Best British Alternative/Rock Act and the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
Some of his most popular tracks include Play God and Seventeen Going Under.
