Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Rob revealed plans to step back from stand-up tours.

He had been asked about possible goals after turning 40 years old next year.

Having married in 2015, Rob and his wife Louise have two daughters together.

The comedian said: “I’ll still do stand up and local clubs and charity gigs but I’m going to take a break from touring until the kids are 16/17.

“Then I’ll do a big tour when they’re sixth form and when they go to Uni, me and Lou are going to spend Feb and March in Australia bumming around.

“When I’m 50 I want to do a psychology degree.”

Meanwhile, the comedian also opened up about his weight loss journey.

He revealed: “So I’ve been on a health kick. I’ve lost 10 kilograms.

“I was quite good at being able to hide the weight, but I was very heavy, so I’ve lost 10 kilograms.

“I think abs are probably attainable. I’m not sure if I’m willing to give up what you have to give up, because it’s quite hard to get abs, I’ve discovered.

“I thought you just did a few runs and they just popped out, but it’s quite a big commitment, actually.”

Rob added: “I lost 10 kilograms between April and November last year  and then I’ve sort of plateaued since, because I’ve been busy and it’s quite hard to shift the rest without really going for it.

“But yeah, so I did April to November, and I was on a calorie deficit, but with loads of protein, I didn’t know you’re supposed to eat loads of protein.

“I’ve done calorie deficit before, but the protein key. I did not know this.

“And I had an online coach called Toby, and he basically told me what I should eat.

“Like in the in the carbs, protein, fat, he said, that amount, that amount, that amount.

“So I did MyFitnessPal where I logged what I ate, and then I went to the gym sort of three times a week. I just did that really.

“Basically, it’s got a calorie deficit and go and exercise, you lose weight. Surprising, that isn’t it?”
