I can reveal Rihanna is on the brink of a major comeback with live shows set to be announced imminently, hot on the heels of Madonna and Beyonce.

She will headline the Super Bowl half-time show next Sunday and will then unveil her full comeback, including new music and a tour across North America later this year.
In good news for fans on this side of the Atlantic, I’m told she will then be performing over here next year.
But you may have to travel to see her, as she is planning mini residencies in major cities, to save her having to move venues every day.
A music insider said: “Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance will be one of the best of all time.
“She’s been working overtime on every element of the show.
“The list of songs that made the cut are pretty comprehensive and touch on every era of Rihanna including the new one she’s about to embark on.
“She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024.
“Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places.
“She wants her next global outing to be swift and easy as she plans to refocus on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty after her brief return to music.”
Rihanna hasn’t toured since 2016 when she was promoting her last album Anti, released earlier that year.
Since then she has been working on her beauty and underwear empires which have made her a billionaire.
The singer, who’s had nine No1s including Umbrella, What’s My Name and We Found Love, also became a mum for the first time last year when she had a baby with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The news that she is heading back out on the road will be great for pop fans.
But it probably won’t be so wonderful for their wallets.
Kim Grammy outfit stress
KIM PETRAS is overwhelmed about being nominated for a Grammy at tomorrow’s ceremony but even more so about what to wear.
The singer-songwriter is nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her Sam Smith collaboration Unholy.

She was blown away when she found out they were in the running.
Kim said in an exclusive chat: “I still can’t believe that is happening.
“Honestly, I feel like I was crying and overwhelmed because I never thought I’d be acknowledged in any way by the Recording Academy.
“It was never my goal to win a Grammy or to get nominated but now there’s the possibility of that. It’s crazy.”
However Kim, who will be performing at the event in LA along with Harry Styles, Lizzo and Mary J Blige, is anxious about the red carpet.
She explained: “I’m stressing out about the outfit.
“It’s the Grammys and a historical moment for a trans girl.
“I usually want to let other people shine, but now I’m nominated, I need to shine.
“I’m forced to serve and that’s good. Sometimes you need to be forced to serve.”
After Sunday’s ceremony, Kim will be jetting into the UK to perform at next Saturday’s Brit Awards.
Then she hopes to release her new album this year, following the success of latest single Brrr, which was released last month.
Kim said: “The album is – every song is a different experience.
“It’s not one single sound or vibe.”
Kim then she wants to head out on tour for the first time since 2020.
The German star added: “It’s my favourite thing in the world other than writing.
“Honestly, all I want to do is tour and write songs.”
Who’s plait girl Leigh-Anne

SOMEONE might need to remind Leigh-Anne Pinnock that Christmas is well and truly over.
The Little Mix singer appeared to take a style tip from The Grinch’s Cindy Lou Who, as she attended Warner Music’s pre-Grammys bash in Los Angeles.
Leigh-Anne, dressed in a frilly top and sparkly skirt, wore her hair in a plaited up-do like the little girl in the Dr Seuss tale.
She wasn’t the only one hitting the town, though, as her former bandmate Jade Thirlwall was out in London with boyfriend Jordan Stephens.

Leigh-Anne has been working on solo music in the States but admitted it has been hard without Jade and Perrie Edwards by her side.
She said at the party: “Being in a group, we had each other.
“But now, being on my own, it’s this new world so I’m still getting used to that.”
She added on Instagram: “I am so easily overwhelmed. Even when I feel like great things are happening, I start to freak out a bit.
“I’m also super family oriented and I forgot how lonely being on the road can be. Gratitude is so grounding though.
“I think about this whenever I get these feelings.”

POST MALONE looked like he was having the time of his life while he bounced around stage in Sydney.
There was no missing the American rapper with his distinctive face tattoos and metallic teeth as he performed Down Under.
He is currently on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which means he will miss tomorrow’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Post is nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for his track I Like You (A Happier Song) with Doja Cat.
But given he has racked up a total of ten nominations over the past four years and never won, he probably isn’t holding out much hope.
Rob: I remember sex

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has joked he no longer gets down and dirty these days.
He halted his gig in Hamburg this week to read out a fan’s sign that asked which of his songs was the best to hook up to.
Robbie, who has been married to Ayda Field since 2010, said with a laugh: “I remember sex. It was something we did in the Nineties.”
He went on to sing a few lines of his 1999 hit She’s The One before simulating sex moves as his German fans screamed in appreciation.
I would have assumed Robbie was joking but his comments echo those made by Ayda last year.
The actress said their sex life was “completely dead” and the bedroom is little more than a “joint work space”.
She added: “It’s been obliterated by four kids.
“There is really no need to go to bed at the same time.
“It’s just a joint work space.”
Sugababes comeback
SUGABABES have confirmed my story that they are making a new album.
I told in December that the group, who reunited last year, were in a bidding war between record labels.
Now they have said they will be starting work on the project in the coming weeks after Keisha Buchanan, who is in the group with Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy, relocated back to the UK from Canada full-time.
Siobhan said during their set for Radio 2’s Piano Room series, which is on iPlayer: “Now we can get on with the stuff that really matters – the music.
“Keisha’s back in London so we just need to find some time in the studio.”
They also revealed Beyonce is a fan. Keisha said: “She really liked my outfit in Hole In The Head, the big skirt thing, and she was like, ‘I’ve seen the video, I love the skirt’.”
Lourdes gets her marching orders

MADONNA’s daughter Lourdes Leon was left red faced after being stopped from entering a fashion show.
The singer arrived for a Marc Jacobs event in New York at 6pm on Thursday.
But it was too late as that was when the action inside was due to start.
Security prevented her from going in and she sheepishly gave up and walked away.

But it is especially embarrassing for Lourdes, who wore a busty double denim outfit, given that she used to be the face of the fashion brand in 2021.
Perhaps tardiness runs in the family, given Madonna was frequently hours late starting her shows during her Madame X tour, which ran from 2019 to 2020.
She said at the time: “There’s something that you all need to understand. And that is, a queen is never late.”
That might work for her, but it clearly doesn’t for her daughter.
