“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Jen Shah surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Prisons Friday to begin serving her six-and-a-half-year sentence.
The reality star, 49, is currently getting processed to serve her time at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, which is a minimum-security facility for women, according to TMZ.
FPC Byran is located about 100 miles northeast of Austin and 100 miles northwest of Houston.
The 37-acre campus is often described as a “cushy” prison, and it is inhabited by another famous inmate, disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.
“Instead of cells, these camps generally offer dormitory-style housing for all inmates; it will be bunk beds,” criminal defense attorney Doug Murphy previously told The Post.
At FPC Bryan, Shah will reportedly have to share a bunk with another inmate and will have access to commissary items such as toiletries, soups and gourmet snacks.
The Bravolebrity’s attorney told Page Six ahead of her surrendering to prison, “Jen Shah’s resolve to make her victims whole and to turn her life around is unyielding.
“She is committed to serving her sentence with courage and purpose, fueled by her desire to make amends for the hurt she has caused and to help others in her new community,” laywer Priya Chaudry continued.

“No obstacle will deter Jen from making the most of her time in prison and she’s determined to make restitution to those whose lives she has impacted.”

She concluded, “Her path ahead will be filled with challenges, but with the unwavering love and support of her family and friends, Jen is prepared to face these challenges head-on and emerge from this experience a better person who makes a positive impact on others.”

Ahead of turning herself in, Shah underwent a mini transformation by getting two large tattoos on each of her forearms.
The TV star, who is of Tongan and Hawaiian descent, got the word “Keiki” — the Hawaiian term for “baby” or “child” — on one arm and her husband and sons’ names on the other.
In July 2022, Shah pleaded guilty to defrauding thousands of people out of money, mainly the elderly, in a telemarketing scheme.

After being sentenced on Jan. 6, she released a statement via her lawyer that read, “Jen Shah deeply regrets the mistakes that she has made and is profoundly sorry to the people she has hurt.”
“Jen has faith in our justice system, understands that anyone who breaks the law will be punished, and accepts this sentence as just,” attorney Priya Chaudry continued.
“Jen will pay her debt to society and when she is a free woman again, she vows to pay her debt to the victims harmed by her mistakes.”
