David is known for his popular videos where he stops celebrities and people in the street and askes “what makes them confident”.
In response to his question, Sia said: “Mirror work, looking in the mirror and then saying to myself all the opposite things that I think are negative about myself.
“You have to look into your own eyes in the mirror and it rewires your brain.
“You’re having a hard time, you’ve got to write all the bad things your brain tells you about yourself and then write the opposite of what your brain tells you about yourself and say that into the mirror everyday for a little while. It takes about six months.”
He then squeezed in a second question, asking what advice she’d give her older self.

She simply shared a three word sentence, saying: “Live more now.”
The Grammy Award-nominee became known for her eclectic performances where she hid her face with elaborate costumes and huge wigs.
She explained it was in order to maintain her privacy against the celebrity aspect that comes with her career.
David captioned the video: “Sia spotted on the streets of SoHo NYC and asked “ What makes you confident? “
“Sia’s response was! Look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself all the positive things about yourself.”
His fans were quick to take to the comment section after watching the video.
One wrote: “Oh this is Sia? 1st time seeing her real face.”
A second posted: “How did you know it was her? Who told you?”
Another added: “How can this video casually exist??? So I am just seeing her face for the first time! What?”
While speaking with James Corden on The Late Late Show, she revealed: “I don’t wear this if there aren’t cameras around. I only wear this to maintain a modicum of privacy.
“I was a singer for like 10 or 11 years to mediocre success, and I was an alcoholic and a drug addict.
“I sobered up and decided I didn’t want to be an artist anymore, because I was starting to become a little bit famous, and it was destabilizing in some way.”
The Chandelier singer echoed similar sentiments to Nightline and shared: “I thought, ‘What doesn’t exist in pop music at the moment?’
“I don’t want to be critiqued about the way that I look on the Internet.
“I’ve been writing pop songs for pop stars now for a couple of years and I’ve become friends with them and see what their life is like and that’s not something I want.”
