Here’s what Queen Camilla’s aide has shared about her true feelings for the Duke of Sussex these days.

Prince Harry let loose in his 2023 book Spare when speaking about his stepmother, Queen Camilla (formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles). Back in 2005, Harry went on record saying Camilla was “not a wicked stepmother” adding, “William and I love her to bits.” But in his memoir, the Duke of Sussex was singing a different tune and painting her as a wicked stepmother who he never wanted his father to marry.

In one passage Harry wrote: “I had complex feelings about gaining a stepparent, who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.”

And during the promotional tour for Spare, he publicly called Camilla a “villain” and described her as “dangerous.”

Of course, we haven’t heard and won’t ever hear from Camilla about how she really feels following Harry’s attacks but one of her aides is sharing what the queen thinks of her youngest stepson nowadays.

The last time Queen Camilla saw Prince Harry in person was in February 2024 when made a quick trip to the U.K. after the announcement that King Charles was diagnosed with cancer.

Queen Camilla was said to be “outraged” when Harry just showed up unannounced. Staffers say that his decision to bash Camilla publicly and then waltz into the Palace like it was nothing resulted in the prince not feeling too welcome and the queen leaving “no doubt that he isn’t wanted back.”

A courtier told RadarOnline that “Her Majesty was furious Harry flew in from his ritzy California home without getting Palace approval and came with an attitude. I’m told Camilla was outraged. She has taken a lot of bile from Harry for years and could not take him using her husband’s cancer as a ‘loving son’ PR move.”

They added that Camilla has taken it all on the chin, but using the king’s cancer diagnosis as a PR stunt to portray himself as a caring son was the last straw.

Aide shares queen’s reaction to anything her stepson does now

More than a year after that visit, some are wondering if Camilla still feels the same about Prince Harry now.

One of her aides spoke to Newsweek about that and revealed that at this point the queen doesn’t even want to be bothered with Harry’s drama.

That Palace source close to Queen Camilla told the publication: “It’s almost never discussed” what the Duke of Sussex is up to.

They explained: “Far more thought and hiatus is stirred up in the media around what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are or aren’t doing on any given day than was ever a fixation at the Palace, where it’s almost never discussed.”
