Insiders said Pro, real name Stephen Manderson, and actress Karima ran into trouble at the end of last year before deciding to call it quits.

A source said: “Stephen and Karima broke up some months ago now and are trying to move on with their lives.

“They are both devoted parents to their little boy but as a couple, their relationship has run its course.

“Stephen is focusing on his music and building the best life he can for their son Slimane.”

Fans of Pro, who has sold three million records during his career and has songs including Lullaby, I Need You Tonight and No1 hit Read All About It, noticed recently he was living alone at his house in London – and posting about ‘cooking for one’.

The pair have also holidayed separately and have not shared photographs together online since last August when they went to Wilderness Festival together.

Karima – who stars in Netflix show Deep State – also took their son on holiday alone last month.

Pro, who was previously married to Millie Mackintosh for two years until 2016, met Karima in 2019 and the pair went public with their relationship at Glastonbury.

They got engaged two years later, six months after the birth of their little boy, with Pro sharing the news on Instagram, writing: “You call me easy love. I call you my gorgeous thing. Loving me isn’t always easy, but you are always gorgeous.”

He later got Karima – who has also appeared in TV shows Vikings and Fearless – permanently inked onto his body – with a tattoo of her name across his heart.

Pro previously spoke to us about how hard it was when the pair had their son during the lockdown.

He said: “People don’t necessarily talk about and especially because we had our son during Covid – there were no playgroups open, there was no childcare.

“We’ve been stay at home parents this whole time which comes with a whole spectrum of emotions, you get insecurities as well.

“I’m never going to look back on my time and think I wish I had less time with my son, I’m really grateful for that.

“All parents go through tough bits, but you don’t vocalise it because God forbid someone thinks you’re begrudging being a parent, that’s not the case, sometimes it’s bloody difficult.”

Professor Green’s rep did not return a request for comment.
