Priscilla Presley claims she was ‘never’ on bad terms with Riley Keough during estate battle

Despite having been locked in a bitter legal back and forth over Lisa Marie Presley’s estate, Priscilla Presley claims she was “never” on bad terms with granddaughter Riley Keough.

The pair, who were wrapped up in a highly publicized legal battle over the late singer’s trust since January after Priscilla contested her daughter’s will, finally settled their legal dispute in June.

Priscilla, 78, debunked claims that her relationship with Keough soured throughout the course of the legal process just weeks after the 34-year-old was named sole trustee of her late mom’s estate.

“Riley is now the executor, which should be right, obviously, being her daughter,” Priscilla told The Hollywood Reporter. “Riley and I are on good terms. We were never not on good terms. That was all publicity.”

Noting that the matter is “private,” Priscilla said reports of her “not agreeing” with Keough is “not something to fool around with.”

“In fact, I’m having dinner with [Riley] tonight,” she told the outlet Wednesday. “We understand what needs to be done. I’m there for her. She knows that. She wants me there for her to help her.”

The duo’s settlement was approved earlier this month and saw Keough become the sole owner of the iconic Memphis mansion that once belonged to her grandfather and legendary crooner, Elvis Presley.

What’s more, the settlement allowed Priscilla to be buried next to her late husband in Graceland’s Meditation Garden — a request she made in May but was initially denied.

For her part, the “Daisy Jones & The Six” star will now oversee the sub-trusts of her 14-year-old half-sisters Finley and Harper Lockwood, Lisa Marie’s twin daughters from her marriage to Michael Lockwood.

Priscilla will be a special adviser to the trust and receive a monthly stipend for her role.

Riley reportedly agreed to pay Priscilla over $1 million in order to become the sole trustee of her mother’s estate, in additional to $400,000 to cover legal fees.

Priscilla, who was married to the crooner from 1967 until 1973, previously shared how pleased she was with the way their legal issues were resolved, noting that Elvis would be happy.
