Prince William shared a romantic message on Instagram for his wife, Kate Middleton, as she celebrates her 43rd birthday. After a tumultuous 2024, William praised Kate’s “strength” and devotion to their family.
Kate Middleton looks stunning and healthy in new birthday snap
On Instagram, Prince William posted a previously unseen image of Kate Middleton. The photograph was taken at Windsor in the summer of 2024 by photographer Matt Porteous.
Kate wore a long-sleeved white blouse and jeans. She topped her outfit with an oversized jacket and plaid scarf. Princess Diana’s engagement ring was prominently displayed.
In the image’s caption, Willam wrote, “To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis, and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W.”
Royal watchers reacted to the Instagram upload
Kate Middleton’s birthday post caused a commotion among royal watchers. They praised William for his loving words and Kate for her poise and grace.
“Happy Birthday beautiful Kate. Wishing you days filled with happiness, love, and joy. You are an inspiration to so many women around the world,” wrote one follower.
“May this year be kinder to you. I am in awe of the strength you have demonstrated and the courage you have shown,” a second penned.
A third exclaimed, “Happiest of birthdays your Royal Highness, Catherine. I hope you have a day as wonderful, special, and beautiful as you. You’re an angel on earth. I hope you have a lovely day with your family. Well done Matt Porteous; a lovely photo, and such beautiful words from HRH Prince William.”
Kate Middleton will ‘look after herself’ this year
People Magazine quoted a family friend of Kate Middleton who shared details of the Princess of Wales’ plans for 2025. They claim she will continue to put her health and wellness first throughout 2025.
The family friend said, “She is looking after herself and is wise to do so. She will know when she wakes up if she is well enough or not [to do something].”
The outlet also quoted author Robert Hardman, who wrote The Making of a King: Charles III and the Modern Monarchy. “We are being encouraged not to look at this as a chapter that’s over and then it’s back to normal because cancer doesn’t work like that,” Hardman says of Kate’s continued health struggles.
“The details remain private but there’s no getting over the reality that it’s an unpredictable disease. The clue is in her phrase ‘one day at a time.’ That’s how she’s going to approach it,” Hardman continued.
Kate Middleton was born on Jan. 9, 1982. She has been married to Prince William since 2014.
