Royal family
Prince Harry’s wife and ex-girlfriend have something in common: They’re both launching podcasts, and they’re both close with Princess Eugenie.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married since 2018, and it’s no secret the two have a super tight relationship. The couple’s bond is so strong and trusting that Harry even invited his exes to their wedding — something most people don’t do. Interestingly, it looks like Meghan Markle and Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas have more in common than the prince; they’re launching podcasts at the same time.
Bonas just announced that she and her half-sister are starting a new show, which premieres the same week as Meghan Markle’s. And the other coincidental part? Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, is one of Bonas’ guests.

Prince Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas is launching a podcast at the same time as Meghan Markle
2025 has proven to be the year that Meghan comes into her own. Since leaving the royal family, Meghan and Harry have somewhat struggled to find their place. The two have dabbled in business ventures, but nothing seemed to stick. Now, though, Meghan’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan has already been renewed for a second season — and she’s getting ready to relaunch a new podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder,” after she and Spotify had an abrupt parting of ways back in 2023 (Meghan previously hosted the “Archetypes” podcast). It seems that Meghan is honing her lifestyle skills and turning herself into a lifestyle guru with a little bit of a Joanna-Gaines-meets-Martha-Stewart vibe. It’s been met with mixed reviews, but the duchess is finally doing something she loves.
Just after Meghan announced her podcast, though, Harry’s ex-girlfriend — actor Cressida Bonas, whom he dated from 2012 to 2014 — announced a new podcast venture of her own. “Lessons From Our Mothers,” which focuses on maternal figures, is hosted by Bonas and her half-sister Isabella Branson. It premieres about one week before Meghan’s podcast.
Princess Eugenie will be a guest on Cressida Bonas’ new podcast
Princess Eugenie, who is a mother to two children, is one of the guests set to appear on Bonas’ podcast. Eugenie, who can be seen speaking in a clip on the podcast’s Instagram account, has been friends with Bonas for years. She is the one who set Bonas up with her cousin more than a decade ago.
Eugenie has also remained a close friend of Meghan’s, and while she wasn’t the one who set up Meghan and Harry, she is one of Harry’s only family members on his father’s side who has maintained a close relationship with the Sussexes post-royal exit. Right now, we don’t know if Eugenie will be a guest on Meghan’s podcast at any point, but it does seem like Meghan is focusing on female entrepreneurs.
