King Charles III was unable to make time for his youngest son during Prince Harry’s recent trip to the United Kingdom.
“Apparently, [Harry] tried to see King Charles, but King Charles said he was too busy,” royal expert Alexander Larman told Us Weekly on Tuesday.
The Duke of Sussex, 38, had returned home on March 27 to appear in court amid his phone hacking lawsuit against numerous UK publications.
Interestingly enough, Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage while in town for business — despite his father, 74, kicking him out of the royal property last month.
Two days later, Charles and Queen Camilla, 75, popped up in Germany for their first trip as Britain’s monarchs.
Despite missing out on a chance to see one another, there’s still hope for reconciliation at Charles’ upcoming coronation on May 6.
Although Harry and Meghan Markle, 41, have yet to announce whether or not they will be attending the ceremony, Larman says he would be “amazed” if they skipped the big day.
“If he [doesn’t] go to the coronation, he’s essentially saying, ‘I am not gonna have any relationship with my family ever again,’” he told the outlet.

While the exiled royals may be met with a “cold shoulder” if they do attend, other experts fear backlash from their absence will be far worse.
“In a universe in which the damage already caused by the rift is still recoverable from, at least in part, a no-show would be the fatal, irreversible blow, both in the public perception as well, potentially, as within the family itself,” royal public relations expert Edward Coram-James told GB News.
“It risks drawing out the conflict over the long term.”

Coram-James added that skipping the event — which also falls on Prince Archie’s 4th birthday — “would draw as much, if not more, media attention.”
“The shadow of their absence would loom large over the entire ceremony, risking becoming the elephant in the room and an unwanted sideshow.”
The family has not been on speaking terms following the release of Harry’s bombshell memoir, “Spare,” and the Sussexes’ Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan.”
In both of the projects, the Archwell founder divulged shocking details about his childhood and the fallout from “Mexit.”
In the novel, Harry accused his father of calling him a “spare” when he was born, joking that he wasn’t Harry’s biological father and claiming the royal family didn’t have enough money to financially support him and Markle.
