Prince Harry has enough material for another book and only cut swatches out to spare his family.
The California-based royal, 38 told the Telegraph that the original transcript for his explosive memoir, “Spare,” was actually double the length of the final draft. And the edited portions were about his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William.
He explained that “the first draft was different” with a total of 800 pages, rather than the current 400 pages.
“It could have been two books, put it that way. And the hard bit was taking things out,” he said.
“There are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me,” the Duke of Sussex added.
He further noted that he struggled to decide what made the final cut because he was aware that his family considered penning a book “an absolute no.”
Harry also claimed that the media had “a s–t ton of dirt about my family, I know they have, and they sweep it under the carpet for juicy stories about someone else.”
Despite editing back his book, he did keep some pretty juicy details, including the issues between his wife, Meghan Markle, and the royal family.
In one instance, he recounts a physical tussle between him and William over Markle, which resulted in the heir to the throne allegedly pushing Harry to the floor.
He also accused the Prince and Princess of Wales of being less than welcoming toward Markle, of ignoring him when they were both students at Eton, of being jealous that he had come up with the concept of the Invictus Games and encouraging him to wear a Nazi costume to an infamous fancy dress party.

However, not all the digs were as serious. He even called attention to his sibling’s “alarming” baldness in the book.
The prince acknowledged that he knew he was “going to get trashed” for including any details about his family but defended the decision by insisting it was impossible to tell his story without their inclusion.
He also explained that he feels a “responsibility” to reform the monarchy for the sake of his two nephews and niece, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4.
“I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare. And that hurts, it worries me,” he said before admitting that Prince William has “made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility.”
The renegade royal also demanded that the royal family apologize to his wife.
“Because you know what you did, and I now know why you did it. And you’ve been caught out, so just come clean and then we could all move on.”
He claimed that nobody had listened when he raised the alarm.
“That’s the saddest part about it — it was all so avoidable. But they just couldn’t help themselves,” he added.
Despite criticism over the book, Harry stressed that he’s not out to bring down the House of Windsor.
“This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy — this is about trying to save them from themselves,” he claimed. “I know that I will get crucified by numerous people saying that.”
