In another incident, Andrew reportedly told Harry he was ‘bonkers’ for wanting to marrying the ‘opportunistic’ Meghan Markle.
There’s no love lost between Prince Harry and his uncle Prince Andrew, an explosive new book claims.
In Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, Andrew Downie lays out a series of damning stories about Andrew, from his friendship with child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to a habit of engaging in tasteless pranks to his conflicts with his own family, including the youngest son of King Charles III.
Prince Harry gave Prince Andrew a bloody nose, new book claims

In the book – excerpts of which were recently published in The Daily Mail – Downie discusses an incident that supposedly took place between the two princes in 2013. Andrew, 65, apparently made a remark behind Harry’s back. Harry, 40, responded by calling his uncle a “coward” for not saying it to his face.
“Punches were thrown,” Downie writes. Harry was victorious in the brawl, leaving his godfather with a “bloody nose.”
In another incident, Andrew insulted Harry’s future wife, Meghan Markle. He accused the Suits star “of being an opportunist.” He also said she was “too old” for the royal and that if the “bonkers” Harry married her, it would be his “biggest mistake ever.”
Andrew hasn’t commented on the allegations in Entitled. But a representative for Prince Harry denied that either event took place.
“I can confirm neither of those things are true,” the prince’s spokesperson told People. “Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”
Harry discussed a physical fight with Prince William in his memoir ‘Spare’
Harry might deny the allegations that he tussled with his uncle. But it’s not the first time a story has surfaced about conflicts between members of the royal family turning physical.
In his 2023 book Spare, Harry recounted an incident where he and his older brother Prince William got into an argument over his relationship with Meghan. Harry wrote that William called Meghan “rude” and “abrasive.” Harry objected to that characterization, and soon, the brothers came to blows.
“It all happened so fast,” Harry wrote. “So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”
Harry and William are currently estranged, with the future king reportedly unwilling to forgive his younger brother for his public criticisms of the royal family.
