Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are focused on different things, according to one royal expert. And a relationship expert says that it could eventually cause problems between the couple — but it’s all speculation.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found a different way of life compared to Harry’s royal upbringing. The two settled down in California back in 2020, and they are currently raising their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in their home state.

But as Harry and Meghan continue to build this life for themselves, one expert says the two are “focused on different priorities” as Harry seemingly continues to focus on the past while Meghan is all about moving forward.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ‘different priorities’ according to one expert

Harry and Meghan have been living their best lives in the United States, but not everyone thinks they’re totally aligned. The two have been taking on new business ventures while also doing philanthropic work, but while Meghan wants to move forward with her life, Harry seems a little more fixated on the life he left behind in the UK.

“Harry has a little to do beyond brooding over the past,” royal author Tom Quinn told Mirror.

Louella Alderson, a relationship expert, seems to think that Harry and Meghan are focused on different things if Harry is truly still thinking about his past life. “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be focused on different priorities and may not be aligned in their goals and aspirations at the moment,” Alderson told Mirror. “It’s possible that these differences could create tension or challenges in their marriage, especially if they continue to spend significant amounts of time apart due to their individual commitments.”

There is no evidence to suggest Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are having problems

The press, the public, and even experts love to assume the worst when it comes to Harry and Meghan, but let’s make one thing clear: There is no evidence that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are having problems. Of course, it’s always possible that priorities change in a relationship and people grow apart. So, while that might be true for these two, it isn’t any truer than it would be for any other couple.

For now, Harry and Meghan continue to focus on their new ventures. Harry is building up his Invictus Games (he is even launching a winter version of the Games) while Meghan is focusing on her new cooking show and lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. It’s unclear how the relationship with Harry’s past might play out for this couple’s future. Perhaps they can return to the United Kingdom and re-establish ties with Harry’s family, though it’s hard to say at this point if that will ever happen.
