Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Pack on the PDA at the 2025 Invictus Games: ‘It’s Overkill’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have never been shy about their PDA, and the two seemed happier than ever at this year’s winter Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been married since 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot over in the United Kingdom, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Although many people didn’t think the couple’s relationship would last, the two have proven that they can stand the test of time.

Harry and Meghan recently made the trip to Canada for the 2025 Winter Invictus Games, and they had no trouble packing on some PDA to shut the haters down and remind the world how happy they are.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle showed some affection during the Invictus Games

Harry and Meghan have been showing PDA since the beginning of their relationship. They were never over the top, but royal protocol often saw royal couples keeping an appropriate distance during public outings. However, Harry and Meghan were always holding hands, or reassuring one another with a hand on the other’s back — small ways of letting the world know there is a lot of love between them. Even after their time in the royal family, they have continued to show each other plenty of public love.

Harry and Meghan ventured to Vancouver for the Invictus Games, and they were excitedly holding hands and giggling throughout their time in the public eye. Judi James, a body language expert, told GB News that Meghan was on a “different level” with her PDA at the event.

“She’s never shy about doing PDAs with Harry, obviously, but I think this took it to a different level. She’s giggling, she’s squealing with excitement at things, she’s very breathless. She had to sit there with him and not just cling on to his arm; she was holding his hand at the same time as well.”

James continued, “She looked like a cross between a woman on a date night and a mum going to her son’s school open day.”

Meghan Markle has always let Prince Harry have his Invictus Games moment

Harry and Meghan have been in the spotlight together for years now, and it’s no secret that Meghan is the one people pay more attention to. But the Invictus Games are Harry’s time to shine, and Meghan seems incredibly proud of her husband every time she attends one of the Games alongside him. However, James did note that she though Harry looked “bashful” and that he didn’t seem “too comfortable with these massively exaggerated what’s called overkill PDAs.”

Harry first launched the Invictus Games more than a decade ago, and it’s a project that he has held close to his heart ever since. This year marks the first year the Games have expanded to offer a winter competition, too.
