LOVE Island star Shaughna Phillips has opened up on ‘terrifying’ pressure ahead of birth.
The 28-year-old shared the news that she was expecting her first child back in October.
Shaughna told fans she felt under pressure about important decisions she had to make ahead of the birth of her first child.
She explained that she went to see her midwife who recommended a dose of Vitamin K for the baby after it is born, either by injection or orally six hours after birth.
‘It’s a lot to take in,’ Shaughna said in OK! Magazine.
‘I was then asked if I had any questions, and I said: “Yes. I’m questioning all of my life decisions up until this point”. S**t has got very real now.’
The mum-to-be hasn’t had the easiest few weeks.
Shaughna revealed that her Range Rover was nicked from her mum’s drive last month.
She also hasn’t spoken to the father of her child after he was charged with drug offences.

She recently opened up about the prospect of being a single parent.
She said: “After a challenging few weeks, obviously, the baby’s father isn’t around. But my main focus has always been just to prepare for the birth and try to be as calm as possible.”
Shaughna added to OK! Magazine: “I’m good at just saying, ‘Right, the show must go on’.
“Billy’s not around, but I don’t want to say that I’m doing it on my own, because I’m absolutely not – my family’s incredible.
“It’s going to be different, but I don’t want to say it’s going to be bad.”
She recently hinted that she’s due to give birth very soon after resharing a quote onto her Instagram story.
It said: “Hello March, please be a good one.”
She added: “The month my little lamb should arrive.”
