“Mama Rihanna” has a nice ring to it.
Ahead of revealing she’s pregnant with her second child with A$AP Rocky during her Super Bowl 2023 halftime show performance, the “Umbrella” chart-topper appeared to hint she was expecting once again with some telling bling.
At a Feb. 9 press conference before the big game, the musician and makeup mogul, 34, accessorized her Alaïa aviator jacket and crocodile jacquard knit skirt with a custom “Mom” ring from celebrity-loved Beverly Hills jeweler XIV Karats.
Made from (what else?) 14-karat yellow gold, the nameplate-style piece is accented by two dozen diamonds; Rihanna wore it on her left index finger during the press appearance.

Fans on social media were quick to point out that Rocky, 34, owns a similar “Dad” ring, which he showed off in Instagram photo in December.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world, you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” Rihanna said during last week’s press conference.
“So as scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. And it’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation and it’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their first son, a baby boy whose name has not yet been revealed, in May 2022.

During her first pregnancy, the “Diamonds” singer revolutionized maternity dressing, stepping out in a series of daring bump-baring ensembles by designers ranging from Chanel to Dior to Coperni.
For her Super Bowl performance, Rihanna went for a red-hot layered look comprised of a Loewe jumpsuit and bustier, Messika jewelry, MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross High Sneakers ($415) and a duo of custom red leather coats from Alaïa.
